The Rose Tea Room is in the conservatory area which was added to the house when the house was purchased and renovated it in 2005.
It offers stunning views of the Urris hills and the river that runs down from the waterfall.
We wanted to offer somewhere that visitors to the Glenevin Waterfall and my guests alike, could come and enjoy a cup of tea and some home baking.
We offer a selection of home baked scones, cakes, tray bakes, a large selection of sandwiches, wraps and paninis. An extensive Tea & Coffee Menu is also available.
Our coffee is supplied by Java Republic (Java republic is a fair trade coffee). My tea is served of course in my best China tea cups and saucers!!
We also have a Breakfast Menu that is served until noon.
While you are in the Rose Tea Room why not take a wander through our downstair rooms were you will also fine some lovely art work on display. These pieces are all by local artists, with the majority of work by Tess White.
She always had a kettle boiling and her home was always about the “cup of tea” which was offered as soon as you came in. She of course made it with loose tea and she made it strong!!
It was always accompanied by her homemade scone and butter.
